All about The Therapy Shed and why.
"Let food be thy medicine and medicine be thy food"
After 35 years of passionately helping people eat healthy, nourishing and nutritious food, alongside 20 years of learning how essential oils, plants and herbs help us heal our bodies naturally and organically...
...I decided to combine all of my passions; food, nutrition and what we put in our bodies generally and qualify as a therapist in both talking therapies, like counselling and psychotherapy, CBT and life coaching, massage therapies like traditional Swedish, Hot Stones, Aromatherapy, Mummy and Baby massage, Indian Head massage and cement them all with complementary therapies like, Reflexology, meditation, nutrition and exercise. So now I could offer a complete range of services and be able to treat and properly tackle the overall stresses and strains that our daily lives now impose on us all.
During my study, I realised that our minds are not functioning at their optimum levels if our bodies are not maintained and looked after properly, and vice versa, so I needed to offer a complete range of therapies to help you optimise your mind and maintain a healthy body. So after 2 years of study, courses, training and exams, The Therapy Shed was born.
Our talking therapies incorporate, counselling, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), health coaching, psychotherapy and mindfulness. We then choose from some complementary therapies like, nutrition and exercise, meditation, massage, aromatherapy and reflexology. Choosing the best bits to suit your issue, creating a bespoke therapy that is as individual as you are.
We offer a comprehensive range of head to toe massage therapies to use on their own or in conjunction with each other or our talking therapies. Choose from aromatherapy, hot stones, traditional, Indian head, facial, mummy and baby, reflexology, hydro and deep tissue massage. You can mix and match any of our talking, massage or combination therapies, just ask us for advice or for more information, we're really happy to help you, that’s what we’re here for.
